The Ryleys School builds on success with new nursery

The Ryleys School, a leading independent preparatory school in Alderley Edge, is now offering education for children aged between two and three years, following the completion of its new nursery building.
The new facility, which boasts a number of state-of-the-art facilities, has already attracted a full pupil intake for this year. The Ryleys Nursery offers child-accessible resources, including a recreation area for children to rest, as well as a specially-designed outdoor area.
The project has been delivered by Bolton-based construction specialist, Artez, to create a purpose-designed educational building that sits independently of the other school facilities in The Ryleys School’s campus.
Mike Banton, managing director of Artez, said: “We constructed the new nursery school building to offer outstanding facilities, ensuring that both young children and teachers were in the best environment for learning and teaching.
“We’re thrilled to have worked on such a fantastic project and hope staff at The Ryleys School, as well as pupils, and parents are as delighted with the results as we are.”
In addition to the new nursery building, Artez also refurbished a number of toilet blocks and facilities across the school estate.
Claire Hamilton, headteacher at The Ryleys, said: “Our aim was to create a learning environment where we could embrace and nurture the children’s passion for discovery.
“The new nursery has exceeded our every expectation and we’re proud that we’re now able to provide education to nursery age pupils.”
