Boutique constructor begins luxury scheme in Cheshire
March 20, 2017
Bolton-based boutique construction specialist Artez has begun work on Berkeley House – a luxury apartment scheme in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
Artez was appointed by Eventus Properties – a North West-based designer and developer – as the main construction and fit-out contractor for the project earlier this year.
Work will commence on site this week with a view to complete by summer 2018.
Berkeley House at the corner of Chapel Lane will consist of 12 apartments, including two luxury three-bed penthouses and 10 two-bedroom properties. The project is the first collaboration between Eventus and Artez.
Mike Banton, managing director of Artez, said: “Wilmslow is a well-established and sought-after location in Cheshire and there is a high demand for new homes with this desirable postcode.
“This, coupled with the projected house price boosts across the region, requires a supply of high-quality builds and luxury stock to meet the needs of an increasingly affluent market. We’re excited to work with Eventus on such an exclusive development and look forward to delivering projects of a similar caliber throughout 2017 in Greater Manchester and surrounding areas.”
Eventus Properties specialises in bespoke properties and strives to develop sumptuous places to live. Recent developments have included Rivendale in Hale and Adderley – a 7,100 sq ft private residence in Wilmslow.
Craig Ainscough, managing director of Eventus, said: “Berkeley House fuses Victorian grandeur and architecture with contemporary interior features, such as open plan living and high-quality finishes. It’s a twist on the typical modern apartment of recent times and echoes the character of existing properties in the area.
“The ability of Artez to deliver premium builds like this is unquestionable and we look forward to continuing an ongoing relationship with Mike and the team.”
