Artez creates new nursery building for the Ryleys School
August 15, 2015
The Ryleys School, a leading independent preparatory school in Alderley Edge, will now be able to offer nursery education following the completion of a new school facility.
Bolton-based construction specialist, Artez, delivered the conversion of one of the school’s existing buildings.
The build time was compressed to fit into the school’s summer holiday period to minimise any disruption to pupils and teachers. However, the deadline was rigidly fixed as the school had already attracted a full intake for the 2015/2016 school year starting in September.
Mike Banton, managing director of Artez, said: “The construction of the new nursery building was based on providing the best facilities for a very young audience, as well as the adults providing their education and care.
In addition to the new nursery building, Artez also refurbished a number of toilet blocks and facilities across the school estate.
Amanda Webb, the school bursar at The Ryleys, said: “Our aim is to create a nursery where every child’s innate passion for discovery is nurtured. We wanted an environment where children and parents feel welcome and secure, laying the foundations upon which children can build a sound education and reach their full potential.”
